Liu Yi Fei, Crystal was borned in Beijing but spent her childhood mostly at Wuhan, father was a university professor while mother a dancer and stage performer. Cyrstal left China to USA at the age of 10 and came back in year 2002, where she was accepted into Performance Institure of Beijing Film Academy at the tender age of 15.

Liu Yi Fei was already modelling since age of 8, her photos are still found on some streets where she spent her childhood. She was said to be a very potential artist since that time, singing, dancing, playing piano.. she was showing her talent in the early days.

It took not long for Liu Yi Fei to get famous, just a while after she got into Beijing Film Academy in 2002, at that same year she already received chances to star in a few tv dramas, the most profilic was her leading role in “Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils”, a drama based on the legendary Jin Yong same titled novel.

Yi Fei’s age was a concern for most people as they are worried if she could performed to the standard at the age of 15.. but she proved to everyone that her maturity is beyond her age and her performance at the series was up to the par.

Liu Yi Fei also signed a record contract with Sony in August 2005 and has been learning singing in dancing in Japan and China since then, she will be a singer pretty soon.

In 2006 Liu Yi Fei made her fame as international star with her role as “Xiao Long Nu” in tv drama series, Return of Condor Heroes produced by CCTV, which is a great hit in Asia.

Liu Yi Fei is yet to be defined as a superstar, but at just 19 and with English speaking ability.. remember her name, cause she will shine.
